Your donation can power real change in Alberta! By supporting renewable energy projects, you're helping lower capital investment required and ongoing energy costs for local non-profits, faith communities, First Nations, and others, all while creating a cleaner, healthier planet.

How the ACE Green Our Community Program Works:

• You choose the percentage of power usage that you would like to green!
  100% = $0.020 / kWh
    75% = $0.015 / kWh
    50% = $0.010 / kWh
    25% = $0.005 / kWh

• You provide a donation by adding up to $0.02 per kWh to your electricity rate on your energy bill.

• ACE will match all donations (up to $25,000 annually) and ACE will donate the costs to facilitate the program.

• The ACE Renewable Energy Investment Committee will annually review and select the not-for-profit renewable energy investment opportunity based on project applications meeting the not-for-profit and renewable status criteria.

• ACE will donate the annual funds available in a not-for-profit renewable energy opportunity (as determined by the ACE Renewable Energy Investment Committee).

• ACE will post updates of the project's progression on our website.

 

ACE will provide full financial statements of the donation to the ACE Board.
