On September 30, Alberta Co-operative Energy will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR). The NDTR is a statutory day of remembrance and is meant to honour First Nations, Inuit and Métis survivors, their families, and communities, support public commemoration of their history and ensure the legacy of residential schools remains a vital component of the reconciliation process. As a cooperative, ACE is a strong advocate of caring for our communities and we’d like to thank the Native Counselling Services of Alberta, for their inspirational ideas we can utilize to honour and support the NDTR.
